Matija Urankar, Senior Associate at our Law Firm, wrote an article titled “Extradition Proceedings: Boundness of the Minister of Justice to the Decisions of (Criminal) Courts”. The article was published in the 100th edition of the magazine “Revija Odvetnik”. In the article, Matija discusses whether the minister of justice is bound by the decision of the (criminal) court in assessing the likelihood that, in the event of extradition, a person-to-be-extradited will be tortured, ill-treated, or degradingly punished.
