07. 10. 2024 On October 4, 2024, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia issued judgment VIII Ips 9/2024, in which it addressed the issue of the justification of reducing business performance pay for sickness absence, specifically from the perspective of a violation of the prohibition of discrimination.

(Intervention) Act on measures to optimise certain procedures in administrative units
23. 07. 2024 On 15 July 2024, the National Assembly adopted, under an urgent procedure, the Intervention Act on Measures to Optimise Certain Procedures at Administrative Units (ZUOPUE). The purpose of the adopted Act is to relieve the burden on the business processes at administrative units and to regulate the faster entry of foreigners into the labour market. The ZUOPUE will be published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia in the following days.
